Fed: Schultz sends rival Fahey best wishes to recover
CANBERRA, Feb 7 AAP - The Liberal Party MP fighting ailing Finance Minister John Fahey
for preselection in the rural seat of Hume today extended sympathy to his rival.
Sitting Hume MP Alby Schultz is engaged in a bitter endorsement row with Mr Fahey who
was hospitalised this week with a suspected tumour on his lung.
The former NSW premier's electorate of Macarthur has become notionally Labor since
a redistribution, and Mr Fahey has sought to move into Hume.
