Vic: Vaccination program for all Victorian children
All Victorian children will be vaccinated against the potentially deadly meningococcalC disease within two years under an immunisation program which began today.
The Victorian government has began inoculating 630,000 children aged between one andfive and 15 and 19 against the disease, which last year claimed the lives of 12 Victorians.
The vaccination is part of a national, federally-funded program to inoculate thosepeople most at risk of contracting the disease.
