EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — An Oregon man accused of shooting and wounding a co-worker at a Eugene equipment repair shop is the son of the shop's owners, police said.
Police arrested 39-year-old Dale O'Callaghan for investigation of first-degree assault shortly after Friday morning's shooting at LHM Hydraulics.
The victim was identified as Jerry Andrews, 33, of Eugene. Witnesses said he appeared to have been shot in the shoulder, The Register-Guard reports. The victim was listed in serious condition at an area hospital.
Investigators have not discussed a possible motive. The newspaper said O'Callaghan remained at the shop until police arrived and arrested him. He was expected to …
